Connect to GOLDPS Growtopia Private Server

Follow these steps to join on your device. It takes about two minutes.

Desktop

Windows

Use the launcher to add or remove the Growtopia hosts entries automatically.

Takes ~2 minutes

  1. Download the launcher above and right-click the file.
  2. Choose Run as administrator so it can safely update your hosts file.
  3. Select Install to patch Growtopia, or run it again and pick Uninstall to remove the entries.

Windows SmartScreen may appear. Click More info -> Run anyway; the script only toggles the two GTPS entries.

Mobile

Android (GTPS.link App)

GTPS.link handles the DNS swap without root so you can hop into GOLDPS instantly.

Takes ~2 minutes

Download GTPS.link (.apk) Enable unknown sources
  1. Install the .apk, then allow Install unknown apps for the browser or file manager you used.
  2. Force-close Growtopia so it is not running in the background.
  3. Open GTPS.link, tap Connect via GTPS.link, and wait until the status shows Connected.
  4. Tap Start protection if prompted, then reopen Growtopia to log in automatically.

Only download the apk from this page. The checksum inside the app confirms it is the official GTPS.link build.

iOS

iPhone (Surge 5)

Use Surge 5 to load our VPN profile and route Growtopia traffic without jailbreaking.

Takes ~3 minutes

  1. Install Surge 5 from the App Store, then open it once to finish setup.
  2. In Safari, open https://goldgtps.com/ios and tap Allow to add the profile.
  3. Go to Settings -> Profile Downloaded, tap Install, and allow the VPN configuration.
  4. Back in Surge, toggle the profile on, wait for "Connected", then launch Growtopia.

Surge shows a VPN badge while active. Disconnect after playing to restore your normal connection.

macOS

Mac

Manually edit the hosts file with admin rights, then flush DNS once to apply the route.

Takes ~4 minutes

  1. Open Terminal and run sudo nano /etc/hosts.
  2. Add
    15.235.167.45 www.growtopia1.com
    15.235.167.45 www.growtopia2.com growtopia1.com growtopia2.com
beneath the existing entries, then save and exit.
  3. Run sudo dscacheutil -flushcache && sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder to refresh DNS, then open Growtopia.

You will be asked for your Mac password when editing /etc/hosts. This is normal--only proceed on Macs you trust.
